business aviation market in Brazil records growth of 12% in 2025
The active fleet of jets and turboprops in Brazil exceeds 1,700 aircraft in 2025, driven by the expansion of mid-market companies and the renewal of fleets in the midsize and super-midsize segments.
The Brazilian business aviation market ended the first half of 2025 with a 12% increase in the number of hours flown compared to the same period in 2024, according to consolidated data from the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB) and operators consulted by Céu Econômico.
Expansion is driven mainly by two vectors: migration of mid-market companies from chartering to fractional or full ownership of aircraft, and the renewal of old fleets with more efficient models in the midsize and super-midsize segments.
Phenom 300 leads registration of new jets
Embraer Phenom 300E maintains absolute leadership in new records, with a 34% share of light jets delivered to the Brazilian market in the period. Embraer's presence in the country, with a comprehensive maintenance and support network, is seen as a decisive differentiator by the fleet managers consulted.
In the super-midsize segment, the Bombardier Challenger 350 and the Embraer Praetor 600 compete for the stage. Praetor gained ground in 2025, especially among operators who need intercontinental connectivity without migrating to large jets.
Outlook for the second half of the year
Market analysts project additional growth of 8-10% in the second half, supported by the resumption of large infrastructure projects in the Midwest and Amazon, regions historically dependent on business aviation for executive logistics.
