Embraer Praetor 600E receives triple certification from ANAC, FAA and EASA

The new model maintains the fuselage and engines of the original Praetor 600, but debuts a 42-inch OLED Smart Window and a completely re-engineered cabin system. Deliveries scheduled for 2029.

The Praetor 600E maintains the structure of the original model and concentrates the changes in the cabin and onboard systems.

On April 30, Embraer obtained the simultaneous certification of the Praetor 600E by the three main authorities: ANAC of Brazil, FAA of the United States and EASA of Europe. The model, unveiled in February 2026, is authorized for entry into service with the first deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2029.

Embraer's strategy with the 600E was deliberate: maintain the fuselage, the two Honeywell HTF7500E turbofans, the fly-by-wire and the 4,018 nm range of the original model and focus investment on the cabin and onboard systems. The most visible result is the Smart Window, a 42-inch OLED 4K touchscreen display mounted on the cabin wall, which supports video conferencing, content streaming and exterior viewing via cameras in the fuselage — a feature that already exists in concept but rarely reaches the super-midsize class with this level of native integration.

The cabin management system has been completely re-engineered. Control is now via a smartphone app, with integration of voice commands, Bluetooth audio, wireless charging and configurable RGB lighting. For those operating in part 91 or part 135, this layer of connectivity begins to enter the residual value spreadsheet, not just in immediate comfort.

The Praetor 500E should follow the same path and receive triple certification by the end of 2026. For the Brazilian market, where ANAC participated in the joint certification, the news has additional weight: Embraer defends leadership in the super-midsize with a renewed and locally certified product, in a segment where Cessna Citation Longitude and Bombardier Challenger 350 compete for space with aggressiveness.
